MyHart.net was logically to be the first web domain name that I purchased to promote my metro Atlanta auctions. As I first thought of the name My Hart in 1996. By January of 1999 long before there was an AuctionZip.com for Atlanta auctioneers and auction houses to feature their auction pictures on. I was searching for a better way of advertising the antiques and antique furniture that I bought, hauled and sold at metro Atlanta antique auctions. I was considering bill board advertising. However the cost would have been quite prohibitive! Starting my Atlanta antique auction related website occurred to me a few days later. While buying antiques in Michigan I had attended an antique auction which used digital images displayed on a TV to hightlight the antiques being sold. The internet certainly hadn't reached the importance in January of 1999 that it has today. However it seemed to be a great way of displaying "color" images for my Atlanta auction customers to view. Which was not possible with the black and white auction flyers that were being mailing at the time. Owning a website in 1999 certainly was not as easy or inexpensive as it is today! Best I remember my monthly cost was over $100 for hosting and the software necessary to display my antique auction pictures. Today as I start on a new phase of holding antique auctions. I plan to use MyHart.net to help feature my future North Georgia antique auctions.

Headed For Metro Atlanta Auction
I had just reached the 400,000 mile mark with my Chevy G30 box truck as I took this picture. At the time the picture was taken I was headed back to the Atlanta, Georgia area after buying a truck load of antiques in Pennsylvania. Buying antiques in Pennsylvania for sale at auction in the Atlanta area was a weekly trip I made for several years. The above picture of my Chevy G30 box truck was taken some where in Virginia off Interstate 77. Today the original Chevy 350 engine still runs with over 460,000 miles on it!

John's Antique Auction Announcement
I am excited to announce that I will be holding auctions at 129S Antiques & More Auction which is located south of Cleveland, Georgia. My first scheduled auction at 129S Antiques & More was held on November 14, 2008. After the first of the year this will become a monthly auction event for me. My goal is to haul 129S Antiques & More a country look featuring mahogany, maple, oak, pine and walnut antique furniture. With a large selection of primitives such as cast iron and stoneware at each auction. As always I plan to take as many pictures as possible for each of these special North Georgia "country" antique auctions! Be sure to sign up for "John's" email auction list which will make possible updates by email concerning my future North Georgia auctions. My antique auction schedule for 2009 is now located at www.antiquefurniture.us!
